History
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction was founded by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979 at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Since then, it has been utilized by hundreds of other medical centers, including the Toronto General Hospital. In recent years, the Stress Reduction Program has been adapted for corporate clients, attorneys, professional athletes, schools, municipal offices, the workplace and people in general.
